I Shall Thank Him!

David said in Psalm 116:17, "I will sacrifice a thank offering to you and call on the name of the Lord."
What are you doing with the blessings that you have received in 2012? Are you giving sacrificially to the Lord?
When was the last time that you went before your Heavenly Father with a grateful heart and had nothing to say but “thanks?” Psalm 28:7 “….therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him.”

King David’s calendar did not appoint one day out of a year to give thanks. He gave thanks regularly as we all should. So, do not wait until tomorrow to give thanks to God for all your blessings. You can thank Him right now! Selah.

Thanksgiving Means Living in Thanks

1 Thessalonians 5:18 Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

In case you were thinking that Thanksgiving is only one day out of the 365 that we are given a year, you are mistaken.  Christians who live with a thankful heart year round prosper in ways that cannot be measured by the standards of this world. Good health, great attitudes, loving hearts, forgiving, caring, relentlessly serving Christ….and on and on.

There is nothing that gets my goat worse than an ungrateful person. This year, take time daily to say thanks to someone who needs to hear it the most. Sometimes, just being grateful for something can change our entire perspective in life. Let me start: Thanks for reading!
